I started playing piano at the age of 5 in a musical family in Bucharest, Romania. I was gifted but lazy, so ten years after, i switched to flute. It was love at first sound.
I studied at the Bucharest Music School with Prof. Vasile Gantolea before i moved to Vienna to study in the class of Prof. Barbara Gisler-Haase followed by a "Master of Music" Diploma at the University of Music and Performing Arts. Meanwhile i attended flute masterclasses with Pierre-Yves Artaud, Heidi Peter Indermühle, Renate Armin-Greiss, Wolfgang Schulz, Ion Bogdan Stefanescu.
Since I started my professional solo career, I performed concerts with orchestras like the Romanian Radio Orchestra, the "George Enescu" Phiharmonic Orchestra, Zlin Philharmonic, Oradea Philarmonic, Bacau Philharmonic to name a few.
Alongside my chamber music activities I devote myself passionately to both Classical and Contemporary Music.
2003 - 2010 I was Co-principal with the "George Enescu" Philharmonic Orchestra Bucharest.
2014 I released my debut CD, called "Lumiere", together with pianist Catalina Butcaru which was highly praised by the critics.
It is my mission to share my own musical experiences with the younger musicians, helping them to become better at what they love most.
I teach masterclasses in Romania and Austria. I coach young flutists privately, improving their technique, musicality and artistry.
I am "Ambassador of Integration", a title awarded to me by the Austrian Ministry of the State for my social engagements. I also manage several ensembles and orchestras as director of ViennART Agency.
